Tabita Medero

Tabita Medero, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born on November 12, 1959, in Buffalo, NY to Antonio and Margarita Afanado-Medero.  Tabita enjoyed activities with her friends at Coleman Tri-County Services, spending time with her brother, listening to music, spending time outside, and sitting by the window in her home.  Tabita was loved by her friends, support-staff at Coleman Tri-County Services, and her family throughout the years.  She has brought much joy to those around her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her father, three sisters, Maria Elena Valentin, Marian Medero, and Patricia Hernandez, one brother, Nelson Medero, and many other family members.  She was preceded in death by her mother, grandmother Trinidad Afanador, and a nephew Jonathan Valentin.    

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, Harrisburg, IL . Colonial Terrace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
