Tammy Kay (Powell) Shirley, 62, resident of Eldorado passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, December 25, 2023. Tammy was born November 8, 1961 in Eldorado to William and Willadean Powell. Tammy had the most amazing soul and a heart of gold. She always looked at the bright side of life, even on the bad days. She loved going for rides in the country as she adored everything nature had to offer and any kind of house plants she could get her hands on. He true love was her family, especially her grand children. Tammy is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Joseph Shirley, sons: Joshua Shirley of Eldorado, Gary Lee Dunning of Marion, daughters: Ashley Shirley of Eldorado, Crystal Dolden of Eldorado, grandchildren: Gracie Mae Shirley, Ronald “Ronnie” Rickman, Alexia Rickmon, Zack Golden & Cory McGill all of Eldorado. Tammy is also survived by her mother; Willadean Powell of Eldorado and two siblings: Toni Herrman and Timmy Powell as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tammy was preceded in death by her father William Powell, son Justin Shirley, grandson Silas Shirley and two siblings: Terri Davis and Tommy Powell. Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm (Noon) until the service time on Tuesday.
