Tessie Elizabeth (Allen) Silva

Tessie Elizabeth Silva, 83, resident of Broughton passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Tessie was born March 10, 1937 in Broughton to the late William Franklin and Alma Lorene (Culpepper) Allen. She married Deane Silva who preceded her in death. Tessie worked For General Motors in Broadview, Illinois prior to retirement. She was a member of the Crossroads Church of Christ in Broughton. She is survived by a daughter: Karen and husband Dennis Owen of Broughton, a brother: Robert Allen of Darien, IL, a sister: Shirley and husband Tom Swanson of West Chicago, two grandchildren: Jennifer Owen of Broughton, Dennis and wife Sarah Owen, Jr. of Harrisburg, one great grandson: Caden Owen and another anticipated great grandson: Riley Louis Owen.
