Thomas M. Stout, 76, resident of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025. He was born January 2, 1949 to the late Tom and Kate (Dalton) Stout. A veteran of Vietnam, Tom joined the marines at age 18-serving his country proudly. Tom loved to travel, visiting all 50 states. A bucket list trip to Alaska was his last big solo adventure. Tom loved the outdoors and wildlife. Traveling south for the winter at times, Tom finally settled back in his hometown of Harrisburg, Illinois. Tom is survived by his children; Tom (Jennie) Stout of Yorkville, LeAnne (Greg Krejci) Albright of Somonauk, Lisa (Bob) Wiman of Harrisburg, mother of Tom and LeAnne; Mary Stout of Somonauk, grandchildren; Amber McGill of Eldorado, Jay (Kayla) VanZant of Harrisburg, Quinlyn (Travis) Phillips of Scott City, MO, Alyson (Calvin) Peacock of Dekalb Kelsey (John) Waszak of Sheridan, Alex Krejci of Somonauk, Dani, Charley, Matthew and Gus Stout of Yorkville, sisters; Sharon Johnson of Sheridan, Connie Simpson of Sheridan, Josie (Jim) Castelli of Sheridan, Pam (Rich) Schroder of Pennsylvania, Cookie (Torch) Wilson of Harrisburg, as well as multiple nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by daughter, Angie Davidson, grandsons; Jeffery Davidson, Jesse Davidson, and brother, Dick Stout. Per Toms wishes, there will be no service. Donations can be made to Veteran services of any choice.
