Timothy Ray Womack
On January 8th, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones, Timothy Ray Womack of Harrisburg, IL, drew his last breath and went to be reunited with his beloved mother on the streets of gold.
The baby of seven siblings, Tim was born on March 18, 1970, to the late Jessie and Wilma Ruby (Robinson) Womack. Along with his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his eldest brothers, James “Jimmy” Russell Robinson and Gary Frost. He is survived by three sisters: Jeannie (Darrell) Pierce, Elsie Orange, and June (Jim) Jones, all of Harrisburg, IL; and one brother, Ted Womack, of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by two uncles: Dean Robinson of Herod and Lonnie “Jack” Robinson of Harrisburg. He leaves behind his beloved pets: Heart and Ruby.
Tim found his greatest joy in making people laugh. He loved to joke, make the people around him smile, and he was fiercely loyal and protective of his loved ones. He never gave up on anyone and always wanted to be sure his family was cared for, especially his mother, who, until her passing, was his very best friend. He loved Wheel of Fortune, which the two of them watched nearly every night. He loved to drive and go try new places to eat. He liked to draw and play chess, and he loved to spend as much time as he could with his family.
Though Tim never had children of his own, he had a large number of nieces and nephews. When he was younger, you would often find him playing like a big kid right in the middle of them. As much as he loved to have fun, “Uncle Tim” was quick to treat any of them like his own: watching over them, guiding them, protecting them. He loved all of them dearly and they dearly loved him: Jaime (Bruce) Briddick, Jerika Jones (Rick McDurmon), Tim McCaughan, Zoey Kaylor (Tyler Herron), John Parker, Erika Parker, Jess (Kati) Pierce, Lindsey (Ryan) Stalcup, Megan (Nathan) Payne, Lizzie Womack, Loni Womack, Wil (Andrea) Staley, and Jaclyn Womack, as well as a multitude of great nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, Tim will be cremated via Colonial Terrace in Eldorado and laid to rest with his family during a private graveside service, to be announced.
