Vada Mae (Brockett) DeNeal

Vada Mae DeNeal, 92, longtime resident of Harrisburg passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Vada was born April 9, 1932 in McLeansboro to the late Bill and Helen (Hunt) Brockett. She married Roy Eugene DeNeal who preceded her in death April 5, 2020. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Vada is survived by two sons: Dennis (Cecile) DeNeal of Eldorado, Danny (Merry) Deneal of Harrisburg, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter: Kristie Smith. Mrs. DeNeal was cremated at her request and there will memorial service at 11:00 am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Dorrisville Baptist Church. Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time on Saturday.
