Obituary

Vicky Ann Dickerson, 70, Resident of Eldorado passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Vicky was born August 13, 1952 in Eldorado to the late Bill and Anna Lee (Cook) Brockett. On October 24, 1970 she married the love of her life Edward Dickerson in Gallatin County, Illinois. Vicky loved her family and was extremely proud of her children. She worked in the family grocery business for many years and spent the last ten years of employment at Wal-Mart in Harrisburg. She enjoyed traveling and made many trips to Florida and other locations with her husband. Vicky is survived by her loving husband Ed of with whom she enjoyed 52 years of marriage. She is also survived by 2 sons: Brad (Allyssa) Dickerson of Maricopa, AZ, and Shane Dickerson of Decatur, a step daughter: Stacey (Ron) Rister of Omaha, a step grandson: Dylan Rister of Omaha, sisters-in-law: Ruth Meyer, Billie Sue (Roy) Graves, Judy Corbin and a cousin Debbie (Mike) McRoy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Brockett and father and mother-in-law: Bill and Frieda Dickerson.
