Obituary
On Tuesday June 6th, 2023, Mr. Walter J. McInteer, Sr., 90 of Galatia, formerly of Jeffersonville, IN passed away at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg. Walter was born on February 12, 1933 and is survived by his wife, Betty McInteer, a daughter, Mona Knies of Jeffersonville, Indiana, a stepson, Joe (Patty) Potts of Galatia, and a stepdaughter, Linda (Darrel) Burner of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Walter was preceded in death by his his parents, and his son, Walter McInteer, Jr. At Walter’s request, there was no funeral service… Burial was at North Fork Cemetery near Broughton, IL the day following his passing.
