William D. “Bill” Brown, 58, resident of Eldorado passed away surrounded by his family Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Ferrell Hospital. Bill was born May 11, 1963 in Denver, CO to William F. and Ella (Gillies) Brown. Bill married the former Valerie G. Medley who survives. He was a member of the Restitution Church of God, Galatia Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening and growing pumpkins, watching John Wayne westerns but most of all he enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his parents: William F. and Ella Brown of Harrisburg, his wife: Valerie Brown of Eldorado, a son: Adam (Amanda) Brown of Eldorado, a daughter: Audrey (Cory) Talbott of Harrisburg, a sister: Debbie (Tod) Cowper of FL, four grandchildren: Emma Grace Talbott, Olivia Faith Talbott, Ella Kate Brown, Jordyn Ruth Talbott, his mother and father-in-law: Carlis and Pearl Medley of Poseyville, IN and his faithful canine companion Dixie. Masonic Services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Funeral services will immediately follow the Masonic Service and Rev. Mark Finnie will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday 10:00 am to service time. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
