Wilma Sue (Stevens) Patterson

Wilma Sue Patterson, 85, resident of Galatia passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3:10 a.m. at her residence surrounded by her family. Wilma was born July 4, 1937 in Raleigh, Illinois to the late Roy and Florine (Brashears) Stevens. She married Ivan Patterson who preceded her in death. She was Baptist by faith. Wilma is survived by a son: Steve (Susan) Patterson of Galatia, a daughter: Iva (Randy) Patton of Harrisburg, 10 grandchildren: Justina (Barry) Nevitt, Steven (Amanda) Patterson, Keith Patterson, Rebecca (Eddie) Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Dylan (Kelly) Patterson, Jordan Goolsby, Brooke (Sean) Lunt, Jerret (Kellie) Roper, Jayden (Alayna) Roper, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother: Leroy Stevens and a sister: Billielou Hankins.
