Clarence E. Allen, 89, of Eldorado passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Harrisburg Medical Center. Clarence was born October 9, 1927 in Equality, Illinois to the late George and Gertrude (Overton) Allen. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married the former Barbara Stout who preceded him in death on February 13, 2017. The two were married for over 60 years. Clarence retired from Tison and Hall Concrete in Harrisburg where he worked for over 23 years. Clarence is survived by a daughter; Lisa (Grant) Cox of Eldorado, two sons; Mark (Lisa) Allen of Norris City, David (Ronda) Allen of Harrisburg, two brothers; Robert Allen of SC, Bernie (Barbara) Allen of OH, a sister; Helen Williams of Marion, six grandchildren; Christina Cox of NY, C. Grant Cox of PA, Briley Allen of Norris City, Benjamin Allen of Norris City, Jessica Allen of Harrisburg, Jason Allen of Harrisburg, one great granddaughter; Kyrin Rosdil of NY. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Vernon, Delmas and Emil. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be Sunday form Noon to service time.
