Dave and Faye were both like parents to me. People came and went in my life but they were my friends for 30 years. I love them and will miss them and their advice. They were wonderful grandparents to Brandon. He was with them a lot while i went to school and worked and I can see some of both of them in him. Their love of books and sense of humor in the everyday situations in life. My heart goes out to you kids. They were unique individuals who loved us all. And we loved them. They got to see David Elijah last year and knew he was named that by Brandon in honor of Dave being like a father to him. May we all meet again in heaven.

Dave was more than a step-father to me, he was like a father and I am proud to call him Dad! He was in my life for over 40 years after my mother and Dave were married in the 70's. He was one of the most gentle and understanding persons I've known in my life! He love my mother unconditionally. RIP, you and mom are now together! Love Karl and the boys!
