Gary Ray Barker, 62, resident of Overland, Mo passed away Friday September 2, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Gary was born November 1, 1953 in Eldorado, Illinois to the late Rance D. Barker and Dorothy Vaughn who survives. Gary was the senior software engineer at Epsilon. He was Baptist by faith. Gary was a member of the River City Riders and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his mother and stepfather; Dorothy and Kenneth Vance of Clarksville, TN, his partner; Amy Hartman, two sons; Richard (Cheryl) Barker of NJ, Jason (Glenda) Barker of CO, a brother; David Barker (Elle del Valle) Barker of MD, two sisters; Terri (Steve) Dalton of KS, Kelly (Paul) Deloria of Japan, 9 grandchildren; Quinton Barker, Lydia Barker, Hannah Barker, Emily Oyan, Ariel Oyan, Devin Oyan, Adrien Hartman, Michael Ohmes, Helen Ohmes and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday 11:00 am to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be accepted at the funeral home.
