John Robert Baggott, III, 71, resident of Harrisburg passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones. John was born October 16, 1943 in Eldorado to the late John R., Jr. and Virginia (Feazel) Baggott. He was a coal miner and he was Baptist by faith. In 1964 he married the former Darlene Burroughs who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter; Jamie Villalon of FL, a son; James “J.R.” Baggott of MS, five grandchildren; Jennifer Cornelius, Lynzee Rowold, Javier Baggott, Estevan Baggott, Ty Villalon, and four great grandchildren; Bryar, McKenna, Adrina and Aurelia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Sturman. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Glenn officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 pm to service time.
