Larry Wayne Reed, 64, resident of Eldorado, formally of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his residence. Larry was born January 23, 1951 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late James I. and Delores Jane (Chanley) Reed. Larry was a retired fork truck driver. He married the former Deannie Dillman who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Equality Full Gospel Church. He served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. Larry is survived by his fiancee April Fowler of Harrisburg, two sons; D’Shon Lee (Joan) Reed, Evansville, Calvin James (Elizabeth) Reed, Robards, KY, 2 daughters; Andrina Lynn (Terry) Carmen, Terre Haute, IN, Brandi Sue (Damien Jones) Reed, Evansville, 3 step daughters; Tina Weller of Evansville, Cathy (Brian) Downes of Evansville, Patricia O’Hare, Evansville, 3 step sons; George (Ellen) Newton of Chandler, IN, Eddie Newton, Evansville, Kenny Newton of Evansville, 2 brothers; James William Reed of TN, Gary Lee Reed of West Terre Haute, IN, a half sister; Beverly Holman of Henderson, KY, grandchildren; Thomas Reed, Gage Reed, Nyala Rudd, Kiara Rudd, Isreal Rudd, Isaiah Boyd, Elisia Rudd, Tatiana Jones, Molly Wallace, Maggie Main, George Main and he was also blessed with many step grandchildren he cherished as well. Memorial services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday August 30, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Duke Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Lindale cemetery with military rites. Visitation is Sunday 2:00 pm to service time.
