Bertha Stricklin, 50, resident of Evansville, Indiana, formally of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her residence. Bertha was born January 22, 1966 in Eldorado to the late Thomas and Virgie (Dye) DeBose. She attended Cathedral of Praise Church in Evansville. She is survived by a son; Andrew (Robbie) Stricklin of Idaho, two daughters; Amanda (Chris) Broshears of Evansville, Doris (Gage Brokaw) Weller of Evansville, a sister; Linda (Coy) Vaught of Evansville, grandchildren; Billie Jo, Baylei, Brealan, mother-in-law; Kay Stricklin of Eldorado, brother-in-law; Rex (Arlee January) Stricklin of Eldorado, nieces and nephews; James Vaught, Katie Vaught, Becca Stricklin (Daniel) Tucker, Willa January, Wyatt Patterson, Bryden Stricklin, great niece and nephews; Harley Vaught, Raelyn Vaught, Lydia Tucker and . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Benjamin Stricklin, her husband Brad Stricklin, father-in-law; Randy and a brother-in-law; Jason Stricklin. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, July 18, 2016 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Bret Myers officiating. Visitation is 11:00 am to service time on Monday. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
